From June 10 to June 13, SCP had the pleasure of hosting Miguel Hernandez, SLB D&I Intelligent Operations Solutions Domain based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

During his visit, Miguel had the opportunity to explore Wellpad YB*** and witness the Agora Smart Needle Valve in action. He also toured CPF, including visits to the Decarbonization, Dehydration Unit Digital Twin RTO, Compressor PHM, Pipeline Optical Surveillance, and Yanbei Digital Center, focusing on production systems and workflows.

On June 12, the workshop at PGP commenced with an insightful presentation on the SCP Digital Strategy from SCP Digital Director, with the online participation of Fabian Florez (SLB APS HQ Production Excellence and Advisor Manager), attendees engaged in dynamic sessions focusing on various aspects of digital operations, including production technology, production operations, maintenance, technical services and HSE.

The workshop provided ample opportunities for knowledge sharing, challenges review, and discussions, navigating an in-depth session on gas production operations, maintenance and HSE. The workshop concluded with feedback sessions and recommendations for the SCP Digital Expansion Plan.

The final day, June 13, showcased innovative solutions and best practices from around the world, highlighting Miguel’s contributions and expertise.

The visit ended on a high note with a recognition ceremony for SCP Digital Production Project Leaders, celebrating their invaluable contributions to the project’s success.

Overall, the team left inspired and equipped with new insights, ready to embark on the next phase of our digital journey.
